OUR MISSION

To determine and provide for the needs of

individuals seeking urgent or supplemental

assistance in Elko county and surrounding

Northeastern Nevada.

 

Through compassionate service, we strive toward a goal of renewed hope, dignity and self sufficiency for all.

 

CODE OF ETHICS

F.I.S.H. is synonymous with charitable service.  The general public associates the F.I.S.H. name with worthy causes.  Indeed, for many people F.I.S.H. is one of many ways persons help their fellow men.

F.I.S.H. has earned public trust, nurtured by years of ethical, honest, and responsible charitable service.  The continued success of F.I.S.H. depends upon the ethical conduct of its employees and representatives.

F.I.S.H. employees set an example for other nonprofit organizations by its high standards of performance, professionalism, volunteer and charitable activities, helping of the less fortunate and ethical conduct.

 

COMMUNITY BASED

We are a local community based non-profit organization which is 98.83% community supported.  During the year 2005, F.I.S.H. served 3,860 heads of households, Including dependents they received over 55,246 services.

All donations made to Friends In Service Helping are tax deductible and directly support your community.
